Quilted Hanten Gilet

A mixture of influences caused the creation of this quilted hanten gilet. With obvious references to Japanese garments and the countryside , you could be forgiven for missing the nods to British military leather jerkins, and ballerina’s wrap top.

This gilet is cut from a robust yet lightweight polyamide which is then quilted with a recycled wool fill, for warmth without over-heating. It can be worn in various combinations, either with the removable buttons fastened, or by threading and tying the various straps to either cinch the back, or draw in the warmth.
